One of the most recognisable smells of all essential oils, peppermint is a steam distillation of the whole peppermint plant. This plant is a hybrid of water mint and spearmint and is often found in commercial products such as toothpastes and chewing gums.
Peppermint is used for a variety of ailments from purely freshening your breath, to helping relieve headaches and nausea. It can also be used to help bring comfort to digestive upsets and help relieve congested respiratory airways as well as helping to improve circulation. This mighty oil can also be used to help repel insects and bugs!

To Use
Diffusion: Add several drops to your favourite diffuser blend to help relieve respiratory congestion and coughs or to help create a lively atmosphere.
Topical use:

Use with Lemon oil in water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse.

Place one drop of Peppermint essential oil in the palm of hands with one drop Wild Orange oil and one drop Frankincense oil and inhale for a midday pick-me-up.

Take one to two drops of Peppermint essential oil in a Veggie Capsule to alleviate occasional stomach upset.

Blend with lavender and a carrier oil and apply to the base of the skull to help relieve headaches

Add a drop to your favourite smoothie recipe for a refreshing twist.
