This well-known hot, pungent and spicy oil is derived of over 110 different compounds, includes sesquiterpenes, which have known antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Fresh ginger rhizome sourced from Madagascar is used for doTERRA’s Ginger essential.
Internally Ginger is best known as a digestive aid and for helping to ease occasional indigestion and nausea. Ginger essential oil can also be applied topically or inhaled for a soothing aroma.
Additionally, you can spice up any dish, especially if you are looking for classic Asian flavours. In the Western world, Ginger is commonly used in sweets such as gingerbread and Ginger snaps.
